Fee-Based Portfolio Management3
FundSource.4 An innovative service allowing you to construct a portfolio of no-load and load waived mutual funds, making it easy to achieve broad diversification. It employs a disciplined investment approach that includes ongoing monitoring of each mutual fund by Wachovia Securities. FundSource requires a minimum investment of $25,000.
The funds in FundSource are sold by prospectus. Please carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing. The prospectus, which contains this and other information, can be obtained by calling your financial advisor. Read it carefully before you invest.
Masters Program.5 A vehicle for accessing a universe of some 70 select money managers from around the nation with a quarterly fee, billed in advance, based on the size of the account. Your Financial Advisor monitors the manager’s performance and provides you with a detailed analysis four times a year. With a minimum account size of $100,000, the Masters Program utilizes some of the nation’s premier investment managers with minimum investments that are, in most cases, significantly lower than the manager’s usual minimums.
Diversified Managed Allocations.6 This program offers combinations of separately managed portfolios strategically allocated across various market capitalizations, styles, and risk tolerances, within one account. The minimum account size is based upon the portfolio selected (either $150,000 or $200,000) and the quarterly fee is based, billed in advance, on the account size. A detailed performance report is also provided four times a year.
Network Investment Consulting.7 The Network program allows you access to a nationwide universe of money managers with a quarterly fee, billed in advance, based on the account size. A quarterly performance report is provided and the minimum account size depends on the individual manager selected.
Compass Advisory Program.8 This program includes a choice between multiple portfolio strategies with a quarterly fee based, billed in advance, on the size of the account. Again, you will receive a quarterly performance report and the minimum account size is $50,000.

Account Protection
Holding your securities in street name with us eliminates the need for you to hold stock certificates, deposit dividend checks, and clip bond coupons; you also receive automatic adjustments and credits for stock dividends and splits. This is also an excellent tool if you have stocks that pay dividends and want them reinvested in full and fractional shares with no commission cost.
Unlike many brokerage firms that set dollar limits on account protection, Wachovia Securities does not limit its account protection. Coverage for cash and securities in protected client accounts is provided from two sources. The Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) protects up to $500,000, of which $100,000 may be cash. We provide additional protection, at no cost to you, for the remaining net equity balance, if any, of the cash and securities in your accounts. This coverage does not protect against losses from any change in the market values of investments. More information about SIPC coverage can be found at www.sipc.com.
